Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (Full day trip) Category: Short breaks

We pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am, and drive around 2 hours (110km South) to the city of Ninh Binh, also known as the Inland Ha Long and the Ancient Capital. 

Arrive in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during 10th century, we will visit King Dinh temple, King Le temple and the foundation of the citadel that was built more than 1000 years ago.

After the visit to the ancient capital, we take a short transfer (4 kms) down a peaceful country road to Tam Coc also known as Inland Ha Long Bay. We have some lunch at the local restaurant near the boat station before taking the boat trip. 

It will be an exciting day highlighted, by a 2 hour boat ride in a hand woven bamboo row boat down the Tam Coc streams enjoying spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks. 

After the amazing boat trip, we drive to visit Bich Dong cave, a wonderful limestone cave located in the middle of Tam Coc area..

We return to Hanoi and around 5:00 pm.
